JCPENNEY / FANATICS SHOPS “IMAGES FOR 325 LOCATIONS”
PLANO, Texas - (June 7, 2018) -JCPenney has partnered with Fanatics, Inc., the global leader for officially licensed sports merchandise, to launch Fanatics shops designed to entice loyal sports fans to see and buy the latest and most popular team apparel right inside their local JCPenney store. Customers can now find Fanatics shops exclusively in 325 JCPenney stores.

I photographed 128 Majestic Cool Base® replica jerseys from all 30 Major League Baseball® social and Ecomm pages such as MLBshop.com, Fanatics.com & Majesticathletic.com. I then created images for more leagues such as the NHL. I had a custom metal rack created for this project and then spray painted the rack to match a corresponding team color and background.
HARLEY-DAVIDSON CATALOG “LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY”
I was the main photographer for the Harley-Davidson dealer apparel catalogs from 2009 thru 2013. I planned and executed multiple location shoots per year, color corrected and manipulated captures for catalog, trade show and other large format print needs.
“THE UNIFORM HAS TO LOOK GOOD”
I told the story of a day in the life of the Phillies clubhouse manager and the role the Majestic Major League Baseball® on-field uniform plays. This piece was used on Majestic Athletic’s Facebook page.
For may years I had the privilege of being able to capture some great images and video of some of the top Major League Baseball players. My favorite moments were the shoots that were low-key, with small crews, and took place in the off-season or at spring training facilities. The players were always relaxed, accommodating and very personable.
Our mission at Global Trim is simple: provide the best service and top-quality products to amazing customers all over the world…and have fun doing it. We love what we do, and we want to share our passion for trim with everyone in the industry.
I photographed, stylized, and enhanced over 165 items for Global Trim’s website refresh and branded social content. The products ranged from small buttons, multiple sizes of packaging, to woven labels and heat transfers.
A few months ago Todd LaBar photography was contacted to photograph three NHL players for Fanatics Authentic Pro Collection. I traveled to Long Island to photograph Jordan Eberle, next on to Newark for Kyle Palmieri and finally to D.C. for John Carlson. Here are example of the images I captured along with the Fanatics created artwork that was used online and at the NHL Store in NYC.
During my tenure at Majestic, a vast amount of
energy was spent developing strategies and concepts
for the large amount of store, trade show and event
signage needed throughout the year. Here are a few
examples of my contributions.
For this content I froze the hats in a block of ice and then chipped away around the hat itself to expose the details of the fabric and logo. I then proceeded to light the ice in various ways and colors and photograph it until I was happy with the outcome. The Flyers and Penguins hats were then used for e-commerce site banners. The Tampa Bay Lightning mock up was for the 2019 Stanley Cup champions. This idea derived from the Flyers and Penguins Stadium Series idea. At this point this concept was being set up as point of sale signage.
Over the past 15 years I have been involved in a multitude of video productions and have handled many roles during all phases of the production process. I have been the creative director and producer, brainstormed concepts and generated story boards as well as shot, edited and constructed content to meet very tight deadlines. Here are a few of those projects.
